WELCOME TO PAGE 2 OF CCC CLUB HISTORY

Here is a shot of all of the members at a picnic. The photo was taken just to the right of where the Lion's Club building is now..

Picnic photo. This one is getting ready for a road ride prior to the picnic. Early picnics started with a 2 hour road ride back then.

The Renegades Drum & Bugle Corps was one of the early food providers at the races. They ran the concession for several years until Drum & Bugle died out.

The track prep photo shows the water truck which was used for several years. We would fill it with a portable pump that was donated by the Central Village Fire Dept. and drive around the track. It had a water bar on the back about 8 feet wide. Some other things that we tried was calcium chloride. Calcium chloride was spread by shovel around the whole track.

It's a shot of a couple of members working on the track. Bending over is Ken Hart. Ken was the club treasurer for several years and was a woods rider along with his brother Archie. The person bent over behind Ken, and the person in the background, are not identified. But the guy in the checkered shirt is Don Osterlund and that little kid with Don is probably Steve Osterlund.

The group shot is probably a Summer Series photo. This was taken in the present clubhouse and it shows the original MX bike painting on the wall where the current CCC MX sign now hangs behind the officers table.
